| Carrying firearms on commercial aircraft. | |
| New York
Sunday DN.. In a special order signed by the President today,
those persons who have the right, by license, to carry a weapon, may now
carry that weapon aboard their commercial flight...
IF they exchange their standard loads for 'sky marshal loads' ( safe to fire in an aircraft ). You need only advise the gate attendant and show your ID and license for the weapon. The weapon will be checked for correct ammunition and you will be issued a 'blue boarding pass' . The flight attendant will seat most of these people along the aisles and in areas needing crossing fire. Section 142.3A of the new 'hi-jack rules' offers guidelines for shoot situations. Some airlines will award additional 'air miles' for providing this security assistance. |
